If you are longing to learn how to create a "time out" for yourself through meditation...If you already meditate and would like to take your practice deeper or learn another practice...
...discover and explore the vast spaciousness within, using Samyama meditation practice. I have been teaching and facilitating meditation since 2000, and am a certified Samyama practitioner. I began practicing meditation in 1989.
Samyama is Simple and Beautiful
Samyama meditation helps us focus attention on the present moment, and this opens the door to direct experience of the Self, of the Sacred.
It can bring you Home to Heart, Soul and Spirit. Samyama
is an utterly simple meditation practice that provides direct and full experience
of the present moment. By learning to focus all your attention into your Heart
center, you come to experience the perfection and peace of the Now. With regular
practice, it is possible to go beneath images and beneath story, into direct
experience and stay there long enough to experience dissolution of whatever
is… into the Nothing.
The End of Struggle, the Awakening of Joy and Freedom
The practice has been developed, refined and taught by Sheila Foster, who says,
"Painful psychological states dissolve, the shields over the heart soften and melt, forgiveness, love, compassion, and joy arise naturally. Wounds are revealed to be portals to divine communion. Struggle is finished.
"Samyama shifts our relationship to the body and to physical pain, often reducing or alleviating pain and symptoms. We can become fully incarnated and discover levels of pleasure and bliss in the body never before imagined. The body is realized as a temple of the Divine Beloved.
"With regular practice of Samyama, insight and right action arise naturally. The karmic roots of our current woundings dissolve, as veils of illusion burn in the fire of Self-recognition.
"We awaken to the Truth of our Being, and discover freedom, bliss, joy, and divine laughter.
"Life becomes increasingly effortless, fun, magical, lived in the present moment from an increasingly awakened place.
"Everything is realized to be the Self, the One appearing as the many."
