Ahhh, summertime. Grassy fields warmed by the sun. Fragrant earth giving forth flowers, fruits, vegetables. Soft summer evenings, lightening bugs, honeysuckle, starlight. Summer is my favorite season.
One summer many years ago, I came across an Invocation to the Queen of Summer, and enjoyed that summer more than I had in a long time. To sustain the mood and celebrate the season continually, I named my art and photography business Queen of Summer.
You'll see, however, that there is much more here than images of flowers. I studied photography as an undergraduate and in graduate school. I've been making images for many years. I've posted some recent photographs. You'll also see fractal images--strictly digital, originating in the computer.
